TDHster 7:31 Location: | Autopan such in map mode needed in track view. For your dreaming: maybe 0 key pressing twice will be hide menu? In waypoint menu (key 2) needed "add waypoint" menu item. Now need too many action for add waypoint with entering coordinates. I remember my question but I can't find your answer about map in different datum. Question about correcting not map file, but coordinates when shoing it. Different geoid parameters user can enter by hands. I think it not bee so difficult rather then correct map file for converse it in wgs84. Or I wrong? And about grouping waypoints... now I find workaround and save differnet groups in different files and load from other when need, but you understand it is not convinient. For example if in 5 seconds after starting tmj coordinates still not defined, make a sound when got it. It needed sometimes in city or other difficult conditions when need wait for a long time when navigation have start. | |

Before I came away I was experimenting writing a utility that stretches/rotates/distorts an existing map image to convert it to WGS84 from different coordinate systems. I'm reluctant to add different coordinate systems directly into TMJ-Mobile since the 'live' coordinate conversions can get quite complex, and would require quite major rewrites of the code. I've had some success with this new utility - I'll try and post a beta version shortly after I return. I'm coming to agree with you about some form of Waypoint grouping - I'll think about it for a future version... Regards, Stephen | |

It will be usefull when it sorted by distance and by names. About route. Are you planning such posibility as make route from waypoints list? I don''t know may java application do this: set time from gps reciever to phone, but it's will be convinient. Track section. How tmj decide to start new section? May be as feature in parameters make menu item that can deny sutomaticalli start new section and user may start it only by hands? In navigation how calculate ETA to waypoint? It use avarage track section speed or tan of this value multiply on avarage direction angle? | |
