alejandros3000 1:17 | Hi: I install TMJ-Mobile phone software in my BlackBerry 8800 and no run. This message appears ERROR STARTING tmjmobilebb8800: Module 'tmjmobilebb8800' has verification error 2903 at offset d009 Please I need help with this error thanks alejandro
Stephen 10:25 Location: Phone Model: | Hi Alejandro, I'm not quite sure why you're getting this error, it works okay on other BB8800s as far as I know. I'd suggest trying the following: - Delete the current version of TMJ-Mobile from the phone. - Fully restart the phone (by removing the battery for a few seconds) - Reinstall the software via the JAR file. Any luck? Regards, Stephen
pimverver 9:47 | Hi There, Got exactly the same problem. Verification Error: 2903 at offset d0f0 Followed up your advice, but still no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cause it looks like great software Thanks, Pim Verver
Stephen 21:14 Location: Phone Model: | Hi Pim, I'm pretty stumped by this one - it seems to work fine on most other BB8800s so I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. A Google search doesn't come up with much, one long shot is to change the BlackBerrys 'Emulation mode' under Browser options to one of the other types (try both Blackberry and Microsoft IE). Probably worth doing a full restart each time this is changed too. Sorry to not be much help :-( Regards, Stephen
twhite 3:20 | Stephen, Using a BB 8830, just installed v.0.5.8 I'm getting an "internal gps timeout"; all of my readings are 0's Any advice to get me going would be much appreciated, thanks. Looking forward to using the program, I think it's exactly what I need. Troy
Stephen 19:18 Location: Phone Model: | Hi Troy, First off, check that you are in a place where you get a good GPS signal (preferably outside!), and give the software a minute or two to obtain a fix. Could you then check in the Event Log (Main Menu/Display/View Event Log) to see if there are any errors listed - specifically look for a line containing the text 'LOCR1:', this may give further details on the Timeout error. There is a chance that your phone provider may have disabled the internal gps for third-party programs - hopefully this isn't the case here! Are you able to use other third-party GPS apps with the phone? Stephen
joinup 10:27 | Hello, have exact the same problem as others in this thread. Same error message and suggestions does not work. If I install the *.jar File I can start TMJ but it stops responding after some secs and crashes too. Any ideas? best regards
