taamir 16:25 | Hi - I got the Nokia5800 and the free version of TMJ. I uploaded a map of verious zoom levels but in all the zoom levels I get an invisible parts - espacially in the middle - please help. | |
Stephen 18:02 Location: Phone Model: | Hi, In the Map Organiser you need to make sure the 'Tile Width and Height' are set to a size at least as large as the phones screen resolution, so in the case of the 5800 this should be 640x360 (landscape mode) or 360x640 (portrait mode). If you want to use the map in both portrait and landscape mode then both values need to reflect the longest side, ie 640x640. (TMJ only loads 4 map tiles at a time based on the coords of the screen corners, so using small tiles results in the gaps that you're seeing. The default of 320x320 is fine for *most* phones, but needs to be increased for super-high-res phones like the Nokia 5800) Hope that helps! Cheers, Stephen | |
