acrane 17:10 Location: | I have sent an invitation to a friend. However, despite my mobile being online and the GPS working properly, my friend gets no live data (No live data available!), ergo no map with my current position. Any ideas? | |
Stephen 18:14 Location: Phone Model: | Hello, I've had a look at your account settings... The Invitation that you sent is set to take its permissions from the 'Friends1' group, but you still need to define exactly what this group should have access to (the default setting is have no access). Change this via the SETTINGS/Permissions page - to assign access to your live location set the Permissions for Viewing Live Data/My Mobile/Friends1 option to 'Yes'. Likewise, to allow the group to view Stored Tracks in individual folders set the appropriate options on the lower section of the page. Incidentally, it may be useful to initially send an invitation to yourself, so that you can see exactly how it'll work for other recipients. (The invite URL can then be forwarded to others as necessary). Cheers, Stephen | |
