Zandis 8:10 | Hi there. In version v0.7.5 on nokia 6630 there is no way to get menu to come out by clicking left screen button. Right screen button does not work neither. Any ideas why? | |

Although the 6630 is a Series60 phone, being several years old it looks to be running a version of the platform that doesn't support the Location APIs, which might be causing the problems. Try installing the S40 version instead. (The S40 and S60 versions are pretty much identical except the S40 one doesn't include the Location APIs)... Any luck? Regards, Stephen | |

If so, the Main Menu is available from within this - it might just be a key-mapping issue that I could fix with a custom build. Otherwise, how about the 'Generic/Standard' version? If this still doesn't work I suspect I might have to give up with this phone - its difficult to keep supporting older handsets like this... :-( Regards, Stephen | |

Stephen 14:53 Location: Phone Model: | Hi, I'm not too keen on re-releasing old versions of TMJ since it gets very difficult to support mulitple versions and its quite possible that some of the web functions may no longer work correctly. However, do you know the exact version number of the latest version that worked (eg 0.6.# - I need the '#') - I can possibly recompile it with an extended expiry, but please be aware that I wouldn't be able to offer any support for this... The version that i have tried was 0.6.0 for S40 and S60 and it worked very well (the only problem being the PROGRAM EXPIRED thing on the screen :) ) .This was the only version that i could find on the internet,besides the current version.Thank you ! | |
Stephen 15:57 Location: Phone Model: | Ok, I've re-complied the Nokia S40 and S60 versions of v0.6.0 with an extended expiry and have emailed them to you off-list.
