jose1711 7:54 Location: Phone Model: | hi stephen, is it possible to somehow plan a route from place A to place B, where A is not your current location? this may come handy if you're - say - on a train and want to see if you're able to do some hiking once you get off. cheers, jose
Stephen 8:43 Location: Phone Model: | Hi Jose, Yes, this is possible via two methods: - Clear the Route - Add a new Manual routepoint via the 'Append to Route' function for the Start point (either from the Waypoints context menu or directly from the map) - Add a second routepoint for the End point. - Switch to the Route screen [3] - Use the Context Menu/Online Routing/Calculate Route function or: - Select a Waypoint via the Waypoints screen [2] (this is your End point) - Scroll to another Waypoint. There will then be a new menu option 'Navigate to <first waypoint>' Note that if your GPS is currently active then the Route Page/Online Routing/Auto-Recalculate function might subsequently recalculate the route again from your current location, so either untick this option, disconnect the GPS, or ensure that Enable Web has not been activated... Hope it helps! Cheers, Stephen
